She was born in Fredericton, New Brunswick and raised in the little village of Cambridge Narrows. Having lived in Fredericton, Grand Lake, and Cambridge Narrows over the last 20 years she has extensive knowledge of the area and has built many lasting relationships through her community involvement.

With her infectious laugh, Karah can easily befriend everyone she meets but may be partial to their four-legged companions. With a huge soft spot for animals, her favourite way to spend time is with her two rescue dogs Roxy and Ruby.
