Born and raised in Carleton County by parents that owned a large construction company, my weekends and evenings were spent playing at job sites. I watched clients be taken through the process of homeownership- from the dreaming and designing stage at our kitchen table to the keys being handed over on closing day. As I worked in their company, over the years I learned the ins and outs of the different stages- design, quoting, sales contracts, building codes, construction, quality control and customer service.
Eventually I was responsible for every aspect of the sales contract for over 150 homes across the Maritimes, which required me to pay the strictest attention to detail. I also acquired several licenses in the financial services industry. Both areas of study have given me the skills to serve my clients at the highest level.
Over the past 15 years, my husband and I have bought/sold 5 homes and had 3 children. We have been first time home buyers, custom builders, flippers and now downsizers.
I understand the hard work it takes to prepare your home for the market, staging for showings and the joys of packing up your life for the big move (especially when the kids are unpacking as quickly as you can pack!). I can give you tips and tricks to make it all go more smoothly and increase your chances for selling. Communication and education are my top priorities and the keys to making the buying or selling process an enjoyable and exciting experience.
